Nether Kirkton Farm Sponsors Northumberland County Show - 27th May 2013
Owner, Ailene, was brought up in Northumberland and has many links with that area. To honour her roots, she has kindly agreed to be a sponsor of the Northumberland County Show. Held on the last Bank Holiday Monday in May every year it is a hugely popular event for all the family. In its new location at Bywell, near Stocksfield, the show will attract up to 25,000 visitors. The animal classes include cattle, sheep, alpacas, horses, dogs, fur and feather, plus there is the battle of the cakes in the industrial section, a motorcycle stunt team, laser clay pigeon shooting, show jumping, archery, fun fair, trade stands and the 'Taste' food festival.
