In winter, pull out your ski boots for an exhilarating day on the pistes, stroll through the bluebell woods in spring, enjoy barbecues in your private garden on long summer nights or go leaf kicking in autumn in the nearby forests.
Nether Kirkton Farm is surrounded by stunning scenery and offers an abundant rural environment to explore, with woodland, protected wetlands and rolling fields a short walk from your door. Watch the local wildlife passing by from your window - deer, rabbits, birds of prey all come visiting of a daily basis. The grounds feature a hill that we are trying to decide whether to plant with trees or wild flowers. Come and join the debate!
Our two luxury holiday cottages, built in 2010 to the highest specifications, are arranged in a horse shoe shape around a shared courtyard. Each has privacy, with secure private gardens, but proximity for groups hiring the cottages together. There are kennels for dogs and a lockable shed available. The cottages are Gaelic named: Lon and Muir Iosal.

All of our cottages sleep 6. Children, babies and well behaved dogs are all welcome. Up to 3 dogs are free when staying in the cottages.
The style is ‘contemporary luxury’, with a large open plan living area with oak wood floors, 3 x 2-seater leather sofas, a spacious dining table and modern fitted kitchen. The living area has a TV with Freesat, a DVD player, FREE WiFi and MP3 player. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need, including, fridge freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric oven and grill, microwave and iron and board.
The three bedrooms have either super-king sized or twin beds, and are supplied with bedding and linen. Every bedroom has a TV with Freeview, and radio alarm clocks. There is one bedroom downstairs adjacent to a large family bathroom, while the 2 upstairs bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms. Cots (please bring your own bedding); high chairs and hair dryers requested at the time of booking will be supplied at no extra charge.
With brand new oil central heating, you’ll be cosy and warm whatever the weather.
